Glass is a practice I return to weekly, a material that grounds me. I have been working with glass for the past two years, exploring a range of techniques through four studio-based classes. My training includes kilnforming, flameworking with borosilicate, moldmaking in plaster and silica, coldworking, and intermediate glassblowing. I’m comfortable with frit, powders, and color application, and have experience making basic goblets and functional forms. I also work with slumping, drop-out molds, full and tack fusing, stained glass with enamels and silver stain, and soldering techniques.
